1990 Rx7 built for road racing and time trails; it is currently setup for TT1/ST1 in NASA. Full wet it weighs in at 2650lbs without driver/ballast, and makes 455 AVERAGE wheel horsepower with current tune. Dyno sheet is available upon request - peak is 467 rwhp at 6700 rpm and 421 lb/ft at 5300 rpm. Engine has more power if desired and tuned for maximum output, current tune is for average power over a large rev range making over 400 ftlbs of torque from 4400 rpm and up revving out to 7500+ if desired.

Engine is a LS2 block - 4" bore, 3.267 stroke, 6.30 length rods, 20cc domed pistons 13-1 static compression- Callies crank and rods, wiseco pistons and rings, clevite coated rod, main and cam bearings. ARP main and head studs. Melling oil pump, comp cams single roller adjustable timing setup. LS3 cnc ported heads, stock sized Ferrea valves, hollow stem intake and sodium exhaust. Brian tooley dual valve springs with titanium retainers, stock rockers with comp trunnions. Brian tooley custom camshaft. Comp cams link bar short travel hydraulic lifters. stock ls3 intake and throttle body. 1-7/8 custom stainless headers with merge collectors -3" diameter collectors and v-bands for all connections in the exhaust system, 3" duals with x-pipe. ATI balancers, ktech belt tensioner. Improved racing oil pan baffle and thermostatic oil cooler adapter. engine holds 8 quarts of oil. Large coolers are installed for engine oil, transmission and power steering, keeps its cool in hot weather for long sessions on the track. Engine has about 12 hrs on it now and was built for at least 60 hours as its a low maintenance piece, change oil and go.

E40 factory pcm tuned with hptuners on E85 fuel currently, can be run on regular fuel with a retune if a person wanted to. Fuelab fuel system with radium surge tank in spare tire area behind bulkhead at rear of car.

Transmission is a close ratio TR6060 from a ZL1 Camaro with mgw shifter, mcloed aluminum flywheel and rxt twin disc clutch. custom 3" aluminum porsche joint style driveshaft by drive shaft shop along with a ford 8.8 rear end with 3.55 gears currently installed, drive shaft shop custom 300m cv shafts.

Roll cage is 1.5" .120 wall, chromoly tubing - built by Jerry Taliaferro race cars.

Suspension is a custom valved fortune auto 510 coilovers with 508lb front and 350lb rear, swift springs on all four corners, custom 1.250 speedway style splined and adjustable front sway bar, tanabe rear sway bar with adjustable heim joint style end links all around, front control arm bushings are urethane and all rear bushings are spherical solid. wheels are forgestar 18x11 front and 18x12 rear with 295 30 18 and 315 30 18 respectively.

Front brakes are wilwood billet superlite 6r 6 piston calipers, .800 pad thickness, 13" x1.250 spec 37  directional rotors with aluminum hubs, also have one extra set of new front rotors and hardware. rear brakes are stock rx7 turbo 2 calipers with 11" two piece wilwood rotors, spec 37 material as well, handbrake still operational.  wilwood triple floor mounted pedals for the controls with adjustable bias control on the fly. current pads that have only one event are g-loc r16 front and r12 rear.

Front and rear windshields are poly carbonate from optic armor. Front fenders and rear quarters tri point replicas from ronin speedworks, 85mm increase from stock on the front and 80mm on the rear. carbon fiber hood, rear diffuser and sunroof plug. APR gt250 rear wing and 10" front splitter, splitter is tied into the front chassis.

Racepak iq3s dash, sparco steering wheel, bimarco futura seats - FIA rated, g force camlock belts and nets, all current until 2020. joes racing interior mirror. Both sides of the car are set up for window nets. Drivers side seat is moved backed 6" for better weight distribution, steering column is extended and can be adjusted with spacers for the steering wheel. Car will fit a fairly tall driver, current is 6ft 225lbs with ample room.
